ELEKS’ Expert Shared His View on Mobile & Wearables’ Future at OMD Innovation Week


The company’s Director of Client Services in the UK visited a five-day series of talks for industry innovators in London and spoke about the opportunities that wearable technology can present for businesses

November 13, 2015 – Lviv, Ukraine Mykhaylo Hnatyev, the Key Account Manager and Director of Client Services at ELEKS UK, participated as a speaker at Innovation Week 2015. The event was a series of talks and presentations from some of the biggest innovators in the world, organized by the creative media communications agency OMD on November 2-6 in London, UK.

Equally inspirational and educational, the event brought together people who shape the future of the digital industry and beyond with an exceptional way of thinking, innovative approaches and the ground-breaking tools they created. The event covered five topics over five days, including brand storytelling, the potential of digital media, the possibilities of big data, as well as how consumer businesses can benefit from technology.

Participating in the talk dedicated to mobile devices and wearables, Mykhailo shared insights into why capturing consumer’s mobile moments, understanding actual consumer needs and enabling them to meet these needs should be at the forefront of a brand’s interaction with its consumers. The presentation emphasised that with the proliferation of wearable technology, the time of interaction between people and technology shortens; however, the consumer’s expectations of meeting personal needs remain high. Mykhaylo showcased ELEKS’ innovative wearable solutions that transform the user’s experience, including the media-popular Apple Watch and Android Wear apps to control the Tesla Model S and an immersive experience proof of concept that allows customizing a car’s interior design.
