ELEKS Hosted an Executive Seminar in Amsterdam on Wearable Technology Opportunities for Businesses


A highly-successful event showcased company’s top mobility and wearables case studies for international business executives

June 16, 2015 - Lviv, Ukraine – International business leaders representing the digital, media, enterprise and retail industries gathered at ELEKS’ wearables opportunity seminar. The event, titled Is Your Business Ready for Wearables, was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on May 27, 2015, was the latest in a series of successful events featuring ELEKS’ experience with wearables.

In his keynote presentation, Markiyan Matsekh, Mobility & Wearables Product Manager at ELEKS, emphasized the impact of wearable devices on business processes and social interactions. Markiyan used the Apple Watch application for Tesla to illustrate the extension of brand value with mainstream gadgets.

Ostap Andrusiv, ELEKS R&D engineer and mobility expert, talked about how smart gadgets are gaining exposure in the digital and media industries. He showed ELEKS’ smart watch capabilities and experience by sharing the company’s Android Wear app for Havas, one of the world’s leading advertising agencies.

Victor Haydin, Head of Products & Services at ELEKS, shifted the event focus to business process optimization via smart devices. He covered promising use cases for smart glasses and smart watches that demonstrate opportunities for their application in various industries. His presentation included ELEKS’ award-winning Google Glass Experiment.

The event’s agenda culminated with an interactive workshop that helped audience members forecast business benefits gained from wearables integration into day-to-day operations and workflows.
