ELEKS celebrated its 30th-anniversary last year, marking three decades of pioneering IT industry development. The company’s ascent from startup to world leader has seen it weather myriad social and economic obstacles in the countries where it has a presence. So, to honour this, it launched 30 Good Deeds for ELEKS’ 30th Anniversary, an initiative that aims to give back to communities in those countries in which it operates. ELEKS’ CEO, Andriy Krupa acknowledges that “only together can we grow and make the world a better place”.
Throughout 2021, the company’s specialists implemented important skill-sharing and community development initiatives as part of the 30 Good Deeds program, with ELEKS offering its logistical and financial backing. It resulted in around 700 specialists taking up posts as corporate volunteers, realizing good deeds for almost UAH 2,000,000.
In the winter of 2021, ELEKS celebrated the appointment of its 2,000th specialist, giving it a global presence across three continents and 15 offices in strategic cities.
ELEKS’ Co-founder Oleksiy Skrypnyk, comments, “We encourage our specialists to help each other and the community, to participate in educational initiatives or eco-volunteering. We believe that corporate social responsibility is the key to shaping not only our present but also the future in which we all want to live. We stand for people, innovation, teamwork, customer-centricity, excellence and the common good. We believe that creating opportunities for children, supporting health care facilities in Ukraine, investing in education, promoting social and environmental well-being, and developing communities should be considered essential components of a company's strategy and growth".
In September 2021, ELEKS Middle East and KSA’s Abdullah Almishal signed a landmark Memorandum for joint-venture ELEKS Saudi Arabia. And in October of last year, ELEKS launched its new office in Switzerland. Moving into the new year, it has created another joint venture with Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) and Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (NRI) in Japan.
CEO Andriy Krupa notes, “We look ahead with great confidence and continue to establish a presence in new areas in the world. We are thrilled to launch ELEKS into fresh markets and explore different directions with our new partners. It’s a big step for Ukraine in furthering the development of the IT industry. By uniting to share best practices, we can create a safe, innovative, and profitable digital future for all”.
ELEKS continues to win big on the IT industry awards circuit, securing its place in the IAOP’s Top 100 list for the seventh consecutive year and being spotlighted as a leading service provider in a swathe of other well-respected polls. It won gold at the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, took home CEE Business Services Firm of the Year, and proved its credentials with the renewal of its gold-standard ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 Certifications.
And it’s not only on the global stage that the company receives accolades. In its home country of Ukraine, arguably the leading exporter of IT industry services, ELEKS’ recognition has grown. It became a Top-5 Best Employer in the DOU’s ranking, was awarded first place as a family-friendly employer in a poll conducted by the Center for CSR Development, commissioned by UNFPA Ukraine.
And as the dust settles in 2021, ELEKS continues to build on its reputation as a respected employer, signing Declaration on Gender Equality and Prevention of Domestic Violence, initiated by the UN’s Population Fund and the Center for the Development of Corporate Social Responsibility. Clearly, the firm understands that in order to lead the pack in a highly competitive market, it needs to keep pushing forwards.

They came to us with their best people to try to understand our context, our business idea, and developed the first prototype with us. They were very professional and very customer oriented.
