December 2022 – Global software development firm ELEKS has been nominated at Better Future London Design Awards 2022 and won Gold at two nominations: Digital Health and Home & Living. The London Design Awards program provides marketplace recognition across an extensive range of categories and celebrates the creativity and courage of those leading the way.
ELEKS team consisted of product designers, engineers, and project managers with a profound knowledge of human-centred design and industry standards for healthcare applications. They had an excellent opportunity to design the end-to-end user experience for one of the most impactful and sustainable devices of 2021: WellAir Defend 400 Air Cleaning Solution, which can reduce the concentration of active SARS-CoV-2 from the air at an average of 99.86% after 45 minutes.
ELEKS ensured that the product's user experience solves the needs of diverse social groups and caters to those living in areas of high risk and exposed to air pollution, fires, and other natural causes. The air purifier was designed with sustainability in mind - devices collaborate and focus on energy efficiency, removing the worries about household energy consumption.
WellAir is now successfully adopted by hospitals, universities, and individual consumers looking to purify the air – bringing us closer to a future without fear of another pandemic.
