AI-Assisted SDLC for an Enterprise Decision Intelligence SaaS Platform
Summary
CORAS.ai needed a consistent, governed and AI-augmented SDLC for the most secure environments
CORAS.ai supports government and industry leaders with data-driven insights, enabling superior and more informed decisions to achieve mission success. As a growing enterprise decision management platform company operating in the most secure environments, it specialises in transforming data into actionable intelligence, strategic information and readiness at every level.
To keep pace with growth, CORAS.ai needed to adopt a consistent, governed and AI-augmented SDLC. The AI tooling had to be tailored to the client’s architecture, compliance requirements and existing development streams.
To achieve this, CORAS.ai continued its cooperation with ELEKS, which had previously helped the company evolve its project management software to better serve its diverse customer base.
AI fully integrated into the SDLC within six months
ELEKS experts helped the client integrate AI into every stage of the software development lifecycle of its enterprise decision intelligence platform that is authorised to operate in highly secure US government and defence environments. The platform features agentic AI, LLMs, real-time insights, predictive analytics and intelligent automation.
We delivered a combination of development and consulting services that strengthened team performance and enabled timely, efficient product releases:
- Building the foundation for AI-assisted SDLC at scale
We established a knowledge base, formalised the architecture, and defined guardrails and dedicated repositories. We also equipped each SDLC phase with custom AI skills and agents adapted to the client’s business rules and technical environment. - Implementing AI-assisted SDLC across development streams
Every stage, from ticket intake to branch integration, is governed by a defined rule, skill or agent, giving teams a reliable and repeatable working setup. - Continuous refinement
We continue to polish the setup and roll out additional skills as the platform and team needs evolve.
To avoid vendor lock-in, the team established a unified approach to supporting multiple LLM providers. As a result, Claude Code and Cursor work from the same shared set of rules, skills and agents.
In Claude Code, we combined proven, ready-made plugins for generic engineering practices with a lean set of custom skills built around CORAS.ai’s own conventions. Live connections to Jira, Confluence, Postman and SonarQube let the AI work with the team’s real tickets, tests and quality checks, while a single command can take a feature from ticket to tested, documented code. This keeps the setup easy to maintain and quick for new teams to adopt.
Every stage of the lifecycle, from planning and architecture to design, implementation, testing, review and release, is now supported by a dedicated AI skill or agent, so teams work in a consistent, repeatable way. Built-in quality gates, such as tests written before code, independent AI code reviews and automated acceptance checks, help catch issues early and keep delivery reliable. The result is a human-supervised workflow that significantly reduces development and review effort while maintaining high quality.
4× faster delivery with significantly more work completed
The AI-assisted SDLC gave CORAS.ai’s teams a consistent, governed way of working across development streams. Within just six months, the number of stories and tasks completed per monthly release grew by 281%. Over the same period, median cycle time fell from 12.4 days to 3.1 days, meaning work was delivered four times faster while output rose.
The breadth of knowledge and understanding that ELEKS has within its walls allows us to leverage that expertise to make superior deliverables for our customers. When you work with ELEKS, you are working with the top 1% of the aptitude and engineering excellence of the whole country.
Right from the start, we really liked ELEKS’ commitment and engagement. They came to us with their best people to try to understand our context, our business idea, and developed the first prototype with us. They were very professional and very customer oriented. I think, without ELEKS it probably would not have been possible to have such a successful product in such a short period of time.
ELEKS has been involved in the development of a number of our consumer-facing websites and mobile applications that allow our customers to easily track their shipments, get the information they need as well as stay in touch with us. We’ve appreciated the level of ELEKS’ expertise, responsiveness and attention to details.
