A French medical device manufacturer, Newclip Technics, decided to automate its internal Information Security audit process by implementing the Compliance Automation Platform (eCAP), ELEKS' SaaS governance, risk, and compliance tool. The ELEKS experts helped the client define an optimal list of controls and implemented eCAP to streamline processes and document management across more than 40 controls in ten departments.

Newclip Technics needed to improve the efficiency of its internal audits
Newclip Technics is a French medical devices manufacturer that produces various ranges of osteosynthesis implants for elective surgery or traumatology. The company operates in a highly regulated industry with significant requirements for data security, process quality, and system validation. In pursuit of continuous improvements, the company has chosen to automate its internal Information Security audit process. ELEKS' security consultants aimed to enhance the efficiency of Newclip Technics' internal audits by implementing the Compliance Automation Platform (eCAP), a SaaS platform for governance, risk, and compliance.
The solution
Automating Newclip Technics’ internal Information Security audit process with eCAP
Initially, the ELEKS cybersecurity team assisted Newclip Technics in evaluating and defining the optimal list of controls for internal audits based on ISO27001. Following this consultancy stage, ELEKS proposed automating internal audits using eCAP to simplify and streamline the work with processes and documents already in place. The implementation aimed to cover over 40 controls across ten company departments.
During implementation, eCAP was rolled out for Newclip Technics, with all content ready for internal audits across the designated departments. The ELEKS team also facilitated data upload, system configuration, and provided training sessions and materials for various user groups.
