Coras is a US-based provider of modular SaaS project management solutions that bring together business intelligence, business process management and task management. Their goal is to help organisations in manufacturing, government, healthcare and technology to achieve information transparency, business agility and cost savings.
Coras made plans to expand and customise the capabilities of their platform for their existing and prospective customers. The updates had to address the needs of modern businesses as well as leverage innovative technologies.
Our client needed to quickly ramp up the team that would help them implement new functions. One of the team’s critical requirements was an ability to capture business ideas, come up with technology solutions and apply them. Coras contracted ELEKS following a rigorous vendor selection process and a recommendation from one of our existing clients.
Coras’ SaaS platform gets new features on-demand
ELEKS offered Coras a flexible cooperation model with on-demand feature-based development. Such an approach allowed Coras to craft quick responses to their customers’ needs, taking into account their industry and operational peculiarities.
The cooperation between ELEKS and Coras is driven by a lean approach and close communication between the client and vendor teams. We have established an iterative development process that allows our client to quickly test their business ideas and seek further investment through showcasing demos and PoCs.
Over the course of a year, we have helped Coras introduce several platform enhancements. Notable functions developed by the ELEKS team include a voice and text chatbot that assists with task management, a mobile version of the Coras platform built natively for Android and iOS, a business intelligence tool and a solution that secures a straightforward process of managing grants.
In addition to functional enhancements, the team has also been instrumental in complex database migration, architectural improvements and platform support. A multi-faceted team of dedicated engineers, business analysts, R&D engineers and user interface designers have been repeatedly engaged with the projects to secure their future success.
