doo wanted to help event organisers streamline, automate and personalise the end-to-end event attendee journey – from invitation management and marketing through to registration and live event tracking.
It had already created a platform demo with basic functionality but needed a trusted vendor to facilitate continuous capability improvements and help it evolve the platform to gain a competitive edge. So, in 2014, doo kicked off its long-term partnership with ELEKS.
ELEKS’ experts helped doo build a comprehensive modular SaaS platform for digitising corporate events, trade fairs and conferences. Marketed as a flexible white-label solution customised for enterprise clients of all kinds, it automates online registrations and attendee management, event marketing tasks and real-time analytics. What’s more, doo’s platform combines the functions of smart CRM, ticketing tool, website-building tool, and analytics and reporting functions in one intuitive solution.
The ELEKS team implemented the functionality of the platform for three user roles: platform admin, event organiser, and event attendee. This was achieved through a combination of custom-developed components and the embedding of third-party tools, including editors and report generators.

With adaptability in mind, our experts focused on the integration possibilities of doo’s platform, building it to slot seamlessly into a client’s existing system landscape – CRM, ERP, CMS and more. doo's agile interfaces also enable the integration of event-specific components, such as apps or event platforms, even at short notice.
ELEKS established an L2 support team for doo, which is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the platform. The team pays extra attention to peak periods when significant events with over 50,000 potential participants are taking place.
Throughout our support activities, the ELEKS team extensively leverages a range of services provided by AWS. CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail play pivotal roles in monitoring, aiding in the prevention, resolution, and root cause identification of incidents and problems within the system. Security holds paramount importance for doo, and we employ convenient tools provided by AWS – such as Identity and Access Management, AWS Certificate Manager, Key Management Service, and AWS Security Hub – to control and manage security issues. This significantly enhances the effectiveness and reliability of our support processes.
Additionally, ELEKS support experts provide assistance to the client's integration team by managing the integration of third-party services using no-code/low-code solutions.
doo successfully launched its platform to market, winning more than 1600 customers, including leading German brands and multinational corporations. The platform has proven to help doo’s corporate clients meet the increased expectations of event formats and optimise their event ROI.
In 2021, doo was included in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 list, an award that honours the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Germany.
