Unique AWS Serverless Architecture for Emotion Recognition App

The Reactoo app works as a social media network, allowing users to instantly create and share short reaction videos using a mobile phone. In close collaboration with the product owner and the key developers of Reactoo, the ELEKS team developed the solution architecture, defined the data structure, designed the user interface and delivered a market-ready product. The team started with an in-depth analysis of the business idea to help Reactoo define a clear product vision and prioritise the scope.

In the next step, the ELEKS team mapped the requirements onto the technology landscape, developing and deploying a unique AWS serverless architecture. ELEKS’ UX experts applied design thinking techniques to build an interactive customer experience and create a compelling, transparent user interface for the app.

The Reactoo app took only five months to reach the App Store. Reactoo subsequently patented the method of viewing and capturing the reaction to the video. Besides the social sharing of users’ emotions, the Reactoo app can be used by businesses to gain valuable consumer insights, alongside user-provided data, and get a clearer idea of how audiences engage with their content.
